BILSTEIN PSS10
Bilstein’s monotube shocks absorber design controls heat dissipation and ride control. The PSS10 Coil-Over System is an evolution of the PSS9 system.
The Bilstein PSS10 Coil-Over System offers ten vehicle adjustment settings and includes numbered adjusters at the base of the shock body so you know exactly what setting you are on without counting clicks. Set your vehicle low and tight for optimized performance or revert to a more stock-like ride height and handling characteristics.
Ride height adjustments cane made on the vehicle without removing the suspension. The solid aluminum spring seat and
nut allow a selective adjustment of the vehicle's ride height. Wrenches to adjust front and rear ride height included!Bilstein monotube gas pressure shock absorbers are manufactured with the rod pointing down into the strut tube, thereby utilizing the thicker body portion of the shock absorber to dissipate side loads. Advantages include greater stability, better road handling, and accurate steering. This combined with extremely high quality manufacturing and materials, means Bilstein will last approximately four times as long as the Original Equipment.
The product's simple, yet exceptionally functional design contributes to the extreme durability and long life of Bilstein Shock Absorbers. Bilstein's shock bodies are precision formed through a unique seamless extrusion process. The shock body is then treated with a special paint finish durable enough to withstand gruelling 240-hour salt spray tests. The finished body is mated with a solid, induction-hardened steel chrome plated and polished shaft, machined valving components and highest quality seals. Bilstein products are backed by an aftermarket lifetime warranty.
KW VARIANT 3
Front: -1.2-2.3” (30-60mm)
Rear: -0.9-2.1” (20-55mm)
The Variant 3 represents state-of-the-art technology for the experienced driver. Separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a individual suspension set-up. The 3 individually adjustable components, allow adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the high speed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been preset by KW engineers.
The unique low-speed pressure adjustment is the decisive feature of the Variant 3. In this absorption area the handling of the vehicle is greatly influenced. An increase in the damping force supports the vehicle even during compression, thereby preventing pitch, roll and notably improving cornering. The compression characteristics are adjusted utilizing a new, patented valve at the lower end of the damper casing.
